Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting while attending Preparatory School. In the late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career with Chicago-area theaters for a couple of years. Then she moved to film and television. Anna was the first to get a major part as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. In the early 90s Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. She also starred as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully and Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional work. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. She also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes called Numbered Days, which was made available in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on his relationship with Skyler are mirrored in the television show.
